Nouveau Monde Announces Final Closing of a $300,000 Private Placement

Nouveau Monde Mining Enterprises Inc. (“Nouveau Monde” or the “Corporation“) (TSX VENTURE:NOU) is pleased to announce that it has closed the second tranche of a non-brokered private placement of an aggregate number of 350,000 units (the “Units“) of the Corporation, at a price of $0.20 per Unit, for an aggregate gross proceeds of $70,000, finalizing a $300,000 financing (the “Units Offering“), the first tranche of which closed as of December 27, 2013 and announced as of December 30, 2013.

Each Unit subscribed for under the second tranche of the Units Offering is comprised of one common share of the Corporation and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole common share purchase warrant shall entitle the holder thereof to subscribe for one common share of the capital stock of the Corporation, at a price of $0.26 per common share, for a period of 18 months following the closing of the second tranche of the Units Offering. No finder’s fee were paid in connection with the Units Offering.

The proceeds of the Units Offering will be used by Nouveau Monde for it working capital and to incur exploration expenses on its properties.

All securities issued under the second tranche of the Units Offering are subject to a restricted period of four months and a day, ending on May 9, 2014 under applicable Canadian securities legislation. As a result of the second tranche of the Units Offering, the Corporation will have 24,670,404 common shares issued and outstanding.

The Corporation expects to be able to file shortly all required documentation to satisfy the conditional acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange pursuant to the Units Offering.
