READY FOR APPROVAL

Since September 2018, Nouveau Monde Graphite has initiated the production of graphite at its demonstration plant facilities located in Saint-Michel-des-Saints. In doing so, the company demonstrates the viability of its transformation processes, tests its operational policies and makes its products known to a highly strategic customer base. Although samples are available on order, the quantities available are very limited. If you expect to require a significant amount of graphite flakes in the future, please complete your sample request as soon as possible.

Graphite concentrate samples have been analyzed and the results indicate that the carbon content of the flakes exceeds expectations, reaching up to 98% purity! Several customers have already seen the quality of our products and are more than satisfied. We are proud to be able to provide reliable and quality North American products!

A CUSTOM MADE PRODUCT

Nouveau Monde Graphite has developed tonnes of standard graphite corresponding to the following distributions: +50, 50×80, 50×100, 80×150 and Finer. If your needs are significant and these products do not suit your needs, do not hesitate to contact us to let us know. We are still in solution mode!

Spherical graphite represents a micronized and purified form of flake graphite. It is the most used  anode material in the lithium-ion batteries that power electric vehicles. Natural graphite has several advantages over synthetic graphite, including its superior load capacity and lower cost.

Expandable graphite consists of high quality crystalline flakes. It is normally formed by treating the flakes of graphite in a solution of sulfuric acid in the presence of oxidizing agents. The expandable graphite thus produced can be used in various materials such as flame retardants.
